ESL 41. Composition II. (3 Credits)
Provides further instruction and practice in the writing process and introduces advanced language patterns. Includes practice in developing and improving writing strategies. Credits are not applicable toward graduation. Lecture 3 hours per week. Total 3 hours per week. Prerequisite: ESL coordinator recommendation and/or voluntary placement.
ESL 42. Reading II. (3 Credits)
Improves students reading proficiency to a level that would allow students to function adequately in ESL 95 and other college courses. Credits are not applicable toward graduation. Helps students improve their reading comprehension and vocabulary development. Lecture 3 hours per week. Total 3 hours per week. Prerequisite: ESL coordinator recommendation.
ESL 95. Topics in ESL. (3 Credits)
Provides an opportunity to explore topical areas of interest to or needed by students. Lecture 3 hours per week. Total 3 hours per week. Prerequisites: ESL Coordinator recommendation or voluntary placement. Co-requisite: ENG 111.
