INS 110. Principles of Instrumentation. (3 Credits)

Introduces various types of instruments and gauges used in the manufacturing processes. Examines basic principles of pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic and mechanically operated devices. Requires a report as an out-of-class activity. Lecture 2 hours per week. Laboratory 2 hours per week. Total 4 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
