Honor Societies
Beta Beta Beta Honor Society
Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is an honor society for students, particularly undergraduates, dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.
Since its founding in 1922, more than 200,000 persons have been accepted into lifetime membership, and more than 626 chapters have been established throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
BRCC is a charter to the four-year university chapter. Students of BRCC are regular members who have met the requirements for membership in TriBeta, as stated in the Constitution booklet, and must be members of the Biology Club. Graduate members should be either graduate students or faculty members of the Biological Sciences who wish to be members of TriBeta. Honorary members can be individuals who have in some way promoted the Biological Sciences at our school but who are not eligible for graduate or alumni membership.
Beta Beta Beta is a non-discriminating organization that does not consider age, race, color, creed, sex, national origin or sexual preference. There are five (5) levels of membership in TriBeta. For full definitions, please visit the https://www.tribeta.org/membership/ webpage.
