The Biotechnology specialization combines biology and operational technology. The curriculum includes basic mechanical and electrical skills with a focus on bioprocessing methods and technologies plus process improvement. Terminal degree preparing one for the pharmaceutical, food processing industries and healthcare facilities and related fabrication and service operations. Potential jobs include vaccine operator/technician, quality control technician and cleanroom/contamination control technician.
